About us

What you should know

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), American Dental Association (ADA), and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a “Dental Home” for your child by one year of age.  Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.

Richmond Dentistry for Children provides diagnostic, preventive, and restorative dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special needs using some of today’s most advanced dental technology, equipment, and materials.

Our Process

Child’s First Visit

Your child’s first visit with Richmond Dentistry for Children can be pleasant and uneventful. Our goal is to introduce the child and parents to the dental practice and team. While with us, we will expose you to the dental environment and establish a baseline to follow as your child ages. Our process places emphasis on the developmental assessment of your child’s oral health. Choosing a pediatric dentist for your child is important, as tooth decay or developmental disturbances can be managed better if we start early.
